I acknowledge the Wurundjeri and the Bunurong people of the Kulin nation, the traditional Custodians of the land on which I work and live. I acknowledge and pay enduring respect to the spiritual, physical and cultural connection to the land of their elders, past and present, for countless generations to come.

I pledge to them, and to the people of Victoria as a whole, that everything I do is and will be done with respect for the land, the creatures and the people on it.

This land was stolen and never ceded. This always was and always will be Aboriginal land. I wholeheartedly commit to advocating for truth-telling, reparation and decolonisation, in solidarity with First Peoples here in Australia and around the world.
